Congratulations to Roadrunner All-American pitcher Chris Widger, a 10th round selection of the Texas Rangers in Tuesday's MLB Draft. The southpaw hurler is the highest MLB pick in Roadrunner baseball history!

C.J. enjoyed an impressive 2021 season. The 6-foot-6 inch sophomore helped the Runners gain a berth in the NJCAA Division III World Series with a 1.26 ERA in 57 innings pitched. He had six starts and six relief appearances, recording 68 strikeouts.
