No. 12 nationally ranked Roadrunner Women's Basketball faces a key test this afternoon when they face GSAC rival Brookdale CC in Lincroft, NJ in a 5 pm tipoff. The Runners sport a 7-1 overall record while the Jersey Blues check in at 6-4 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

The Runners look for their second straight win following a victory over Community College of Philadelphia Tuesday at home. Guard Anna DiPiero led the offense with 21 points to spark the win.

The Runners, who opened the season with a 6-0 record, had bounced back from a tough loss to D II and nationally ranked Mercer  CCC in the Roadrunner Women's Showcase over the weekend.

"We still have a lot to work on, but the win over CCP was a nice bounce-back for us," said Coach Rich Cooper. "We were in a tight defensive game, but a few people stepped up in the fourth quarter to nail down that win.

"We expect much of the same type of game at Brookdale, so this will be another big test for us."
