Jenni DeVault (Kingsway) from Rowan College at Gloucester County has been named Garden State Athletic Conference Division III women's goalkeeper of the week while RCGC's Megan Lord (Glassboro) has been chosen as Division III Player of the Week!
DeVault made five saves in the Roadrunners' 3-0 win over Montgomery Rockville, ranked No. 4 nationally. Two of the fives saves were tremendous off of shots that easily could have led to Montgomery goals. The saves were to the point that the opposing coach gave her major props after the game. Her focus and intensity allowed the Roardunners to not only secure a win on the road, but their first shut out.
Lord, a freshman midfielder contributed on both sides of the ball in the Roadrunner's victory over Montgomery Rockville. She played 89 minutes in a center midfield role while scoring two goals and contributing one assist. Lord was also a solid defender in that role which assisted the team in posting a shut out.
