The Roadrunner softball team will open the 2025 season with plenty of high hopes, entering the new spring No. 4 in the NJCAA Division III pre-season national rankings.
Coach Steve DePasquale, who enters his 31st season at the helm, is optimistic that his team's experience will carry them to a successful 2025 campaign. He will be assisted by veteran assistant coaches Bill Collins and Lynnsie Collins.
The club has several experienced players on the roster, and coupled with a solid group of freshmen recruits, Coach DePasquale is once again likely to enjoy a competitive campaign on a national level.
The squad opens the season March 1st with a doubleheader at home vs. Northampton Community College. First pitch is set for 12 noon in Game 1.
2025 Season Preview
Coach: Steve DePasquale, 31st season; 888-405-3 career record. Led program to Division III National Championships in 2011 and 2012.
Assistant Coaches: Bill Collins, 2023 DIII National Assistance Coach of the Year; Lynnsie Collins.
Last Season: In 2024, the team compiled a 26-10 record and compiled a 2-2 record in the NJCAA D III Softball World Series. They also captured the Region 19 North Atlantic District championship with a win over Brookdale in the finals.
Season Opener: March 1, home doubleheader vs. Region 19 rival Northampton Community College. Game 1 first pitch set for 12 pm.
