The RCSJ Men's and Women's Golf teams opened the 2026 season on a high note with each squad placing first in team competition during Monday's Ocean County College Invitational at Seaview Bay Golf Club.
Freshman John Bollendorf was low scorer for the Runners with a 74 finish. He was followed in the individual standings by Jamie Ciesielka (77), Cole Geatens (78), Dan Collins (78), Brady Geatens (79), Colin Pape (79), and Connor Eberly (79).
Low medalist in the Men's competition was County College of Morris's Jake Morgan, who shot a 71.
The Runners prevailed in the team scoring with 310 points followed by RC Cumberland (326), County College of Morris (329) and Ocean County College (343).
In the women's meet, RCSJ's Miya Villari and Cumberland's Brigid Humphreys each carded a 106 to finish as co-medalists. The Runners claimed the team title for the meet.
