Freshman Julian Boyer turned in the lowest score in Region 19 Wednesday when the Roadrunner standout carded a sizzling 71 on the Pitman Golf Course to earn medalist honors during the Roadrunner Invitational.

Boyer, a former Deptford High golfer, also led the Roadrunner Men's squad to the team title on their home course as RCSJ finished with 297 points to dust off County College of Morris, Stockton, and RCSJ Cumberland.

Placing behind Boyer among his teammates were Andrew Michalski (74), Nick Iuliucci (76) and Connor Eberly (76).

On the women's side, freshman Miya Villari emerged as low scorer with a round of 105, followed by Sammi Sutter (111) and Lanie Guzman (112).

Next up for the Runners will be the Region 19 Championship Meet on Monday and Tuesday, May 12-13, at Ash Brook Golf Club, where the Runners will attempt to win their third straight Region crown.
