Congratulations to RCSJ Baseball star Alex Apicella and Women's Soccer standout Ava Pino on being nominated for NJCAA Region 19 Scholar Athlete Awards for 2026!
 
Apicella has been nominated for the NJCAA Robert Zifchak Scholar Athlete Award, presented annually to a top male  athlete in Region 19. Alex will  continue his academic and athletics career at Stonybrook University.
 
Pino has been nominated for the NJCAA John Stauff Scholar Athlete Award, presented annually to a top female athlete in Region 19. Ava  will continue her academic and athletics career at Stockton University.
