Today we highlight sophomore men's soccer star Lucas Fryc, who once again is one of Region 19's top backs and who has led the Roadrunners to a second straight NJCAA Region 19 playoff appearance under veteran coach George Hobbins. See his profile below.

High School: Bordentown Regional High School Class of 2022
Major: Chemistry. Hopes continue his academic career at a 4-year NCAA university and possibly continuing his soccer career. Lucas also wants to be employed as a college professor and work in research.
Position: Center Back / Defender
Favorite Memory: Said Lucas: "I'll never forget winning the Regional final last season. That was amazing and really bonded us as a team."
About Lucas Fryc: Lucas, a center-back, has proven to be one of the top defenders in Region 19, earning All-Region honors as a freshman in Fall 2023. He helped the Runners to a 12-3-1 overall record, a Region 19 title, and a berth in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament in Charlotte, NC.
At Bordentown High, Lucas was a two-time 1st Team BCSL All-Patriot League selection and was named BCSJ Patriot League Defender of the Year. He was named 2nd Team All-South Jersey, and 2nd Team All-State South. Lucas played in the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Senior All-Star Game. While serving as team captain of the Scotties, Head Coach Jason Zablow, the team finished with an overall record of 15-4-1.
